Amon-Ra Gama, MD

Dr. Gama is a distinguished plastic surgeon dedicated to excellence and patient care. Born in Brazil and fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, he brings a unique cultural perspective to Vanguard Plastic Surgery. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Northeastern University and earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, serving as Class Council Ethics Chair.

Dr. Gama completed a research fellowship at Harvard Medical School's Massachusetts General Hospital, advancing outcomes in face and hand transplantation. He then completed a 6-year Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, excelling as Chief Resident.

His expertise includes general reconstruction, limb salvage, microsurgery, hand surgery, peripheral nerve surgery, trauma, and aesthetic procedures, focusing on breast surgery. An avid triathlete and traveler, Dr. Gama brings the same dedication to his practice as to his personal pursuits.
